"Wooden Acting" & "I Dare You To Make Less Sense" Sketch Dump

Doing a bit of a sketch dump. These were from my brief collaboration with Steven Anderson of "Reel Advice". We were producing some video reviews and it didn't really work out, so I proposed illustrating some images to go with his text reviews. These were two samples I put together for him. The one at the top involves the Finnish metal band "Lordi" and the one below involves the movie "Kiss of the Vampire". You had to kind of read his reviews to get the context of either.

They're not bad, I was finally starting to get some color sense in Photoshop. But the lineart is really emblematic of stuff I don't like looking back on now (even though I made both earlier this year). Plus while I CAN do the Photoshop airbrush look, I just don't think it's very "me" if that makes any sense.
